Pre-Loved Bases with Calyx Lampshades
Our pre-loved lamp bases are refurbished, modified, or converted bases that have been carefully restored and are sold in good working order.
Bases purchased without a Calyx lampshade are typically priced between R200 and R500, depending on the style, condition, and work required to restore them.
To encourage reuse and reduce waste, pre-loved bases purchased together with a Calyx lampshade are usually offered at a discounted price.
Repairing Existing Bases
We are committed to reducing waste by helping customers reuse their existing lamp bases rather than discard them. For every Calyx lampshade purchased, we offer a simple repair and refurbishment service for the older bases.
A small service fee (from R75) applies, together with the cost of any replacement parts required to restore the base to safe and reliable working order.
Donations Welcome
We are also happy to accept donations of old, broken, or unwanted lamp bases. Wherever possible, we refurbish these bases or salvage usable components to repair and create other pre-loved bases, helping to keep valuable materials out of landfill.
Availability
As we continually refurbish and create unique pre-loved bases, it can be difficult to keep our website fully up to date.
